DATA AND CABLING - We Find Solutions

We understand the necessity and the importance of properly installed cable infrastructures and the equipment that it services. Without properly installed equipment and wiring, you run the risk of not completely optimizing your systems full potential, or even worse, complete system failure. Poorly installed systems can cost your business valuable time and money. Find out how we can help.

AREAS OF SERVICE

FIBER OPTICS

A method of transmitting information from one place to another by sending pulses of light through an optical fiber. The light forms an electromagnetic carrier wave that is modulated to carry information. First developed in the 1970's, fiber-optics have revolutionized the telecommunications industry and have played a major role in the advent of the Information Age.

STRUCTURED CABLING

Structured cabling design and installation is governed by a set of standards that specify wiring data centers, offices, and apartment buildings for data or voice communications using various kinds of cable, most commonly category 5e (CAT5e), category 6 (CAT6), and fiber optic cabling and modular connectors.

CERTIFYING/TESTING/TROUBLESHOOTING

Whether installing new cable, or troubleshooting existing cable, cable testing plays an important role in the process. Common tests for datacom cabling include length, wiremap, attenuation, NEXT, DC loop resistance, and return loss.
As networks evolve, so do the requirements of the cabling infrastructure to support them. New standards are continuously being developed to provide guidelines for cabling professionals when installing, testing, troubleshooting, and certifying either copper and fiber. Whether it's 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX or 1000BASE-T, there are specific requirements and potential pitfalls in implementing these technologies. With 10GBASE-T, it becomes even more critical to keep current with the latest proliferation in cabling and cable testing.
Cable testing provides a level of assurance that the installed cabling links provide the desired transmission capability to support the data communication desired by the users.

WIRELESS TECHNOLOGIES

Technology that allows electronic devices to connect to a wireless LAN (WLAN) network, mainly using the 2.4 gigahertz (12 cm) UHF and 5 gigahertz (6 cm) SHF ISM radio bands. A WLAN is usually password protected, but may be open, which allows any device within its range to access the resources of the WLAN network.

HARDWARE INSTALLATIONS

Installation of hardware for your communications system.

DATA CENTER

Facilities to house computer systems and associated components, such as telecommunications and storage systems. They generally include redundant or backup power supplies, redundant data communications connections, environmental controls (e.g., air conditioning, fire suppression) and various security devices.

MASS COMMUNICATION/P.A. SYSTEMS

A public address system (PA system) is an electronic sound amplification and distribution system with a microphone, amplifier, and loudspeakers, used to allow a person to address a large public, for example, announcements at a sports stadium or in a school auditorium. The term is also used for systems which may incorporate music as well as speech to reinforce a sound source, such as recorded music or a person giving a speech for distributing the sound throughout a venue or building.
