DESCRIPTION:

In the abatement and demolition of Building 1624 BlackStar was required to provide, and maintain all environmental and erosion control measures. The scope of work required BlackStar to abate the crawlspace demo and dispose of the existing building, building slab, and underground utilities, which were demoed below grade. After the demolition BlackStar provided fill material to provide positive drainage from the pad. All existing utilities within the building perimeter were removed and disposed of. All domestic water lines, fire lines and sewer lines located at the building or uncovered in the demolition process were capped in place. Existing parking lots and driveways remained in place. Asbestos abatement manifest was prepared and filed, and all asbestos containing material was handled, transported and disposed of in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
